Skiing holiday in Gries
Small, fine and perfectly suited for families and beginners. When skiing in Gries, beginners can make their first turns away from the hustle and bustle of the big ski areas and perfect their technique with experienced ski instructors. Children especially love the colourful children's area and the practice slopes in Gries. The ski lift is only a few metres away from Apart Montagna and is open once a week for night skiing. Ski equipment is available at the local ski rental.
The Sölden ski area is about 30 minutes away by car. Free ski buses run several times a day between Gries and Sölden.
Cross-country skiing in Gries
Due to its high altitude, Gries is considered as a true cross-country skiing eldorado: classic cross-country skiing or skating on a total of 13 km of high-altitude trails. Varied routes along the Fischbach with ascents and descents, through forests and over sunny hills. Due to the hilly nature it is definitely sporty here, no trace of boredom. The snow sports school in Gries also offers cross-country skiing courses for beginners and advanced skiers.
